Our Mission

We strive to support the recovery of monarch butterflies in Ohio by creating a pollinator waystation on campus of The Ohio State University. By engaging with experts, community partners, and students, we aim to create a long term environmental impact in our community.

Goal One

Design, plant, and care for a milkweed and pollinator garden that provides essential resources for monarch butterflies while serving as a visible, long-term conservation site on campus.

Goal Two

Increase awareness of monarch population decline through workshops, social media, and hands-on events, helping students and community members understand how individual actions can support conservation efforts.

Goal Three

Empower individuals to take action by distributing native milkweed and nectar plant seeds, encouraging the creation of additional pollinator habitats throughout Ohio.

This is the plot of land (outlined in red) that our team is planning to turn into a monarch waystation. It is located at Chadwick Arboretum North - 2201 Fred Taylor Drive.
